Deconstruction Information

Your donation may be a candidate for our Deconstruction Program (Decon), where we send staff and skilled volunteers to your home to remove your cabinets for donation. This service is free, saves your donation from the landfill, and helps provide revenue to support Habitat's mission!

Donation Dropoff Information

Thank you for dropping off your donation at one of the two Greater Des Moines Habitat ReStore locations! Please review the information below before dropping off your donation. All donations must be accepted by a staff member.
Please note: information is different for each store.

East Euclid Location

2200 E. Euclid Ave., Des Moines, IA 50317
Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9am to 6pm
Instructions: Drive to the WEST side of the building and go through the gate labeled DONATIONS. Pull up to the large garage door. Go in the double doors by the garage door for assistance. An associate will be available to help unload your donations and give you a receipt on-site.

Urbandale Location

4033 NW Urbandale Dr., Urbandale, IA 50322
Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9am to 6pm
Instructions: Drive to the NORTH side of the building. Pull up to the large garage door. Go in the single door by the garage door for assistance. An associate will be available to help unload your donations and give you a receipt on-site.
